At CvUp we are committed to protecting your personal information and being fully transparent about how we use it. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, the purposes for which we process it, and your rights as a data subject.
CvUp is the entity responsible for processing the personal data collected through the service available at cvup.pro. For any questions related to the processing of your data, you may contact us at legal@cvup.pro.
The service complies with applicable personal data protection regulations.
To provide the CV analysis and optimization service, we collect the following data:
CV document: the file (PDF or text document) you voluntarily upload for analysis and optimization. This file may contain personal information such as your name, contact details, work history, and educational background.
Search parameters: the position or role you are applying for, the target country or job market, and links to job listings you wish to use as reference.
Email address: the email address you provide during the payment process, used exclusively to send you the analysis result and to handle any support inquiries.
Payment data: CvUp does not collect or store credit or debit card data directly. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc., a PCI DSS certified payment service provider. We only receive confirmation of the transaction outcome.
The data you provide is used exclusively for the following purposes:
Analyzing your CV and identifying areas for improvement based on the stated position and target job market.
Generating an optimized version of your CV that you can download directly.
Sending you the analysis result and the optimized document by email.
Handling technical support requests or queries related to your order.
Under no circumstances do we use your CV or data to train artificial intelligence models, for advertising purposes, to transfer or sell information to third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to the service, or for any purpose not described in this policy.
Your CV and the documents generated as a result of the analysis are stored on secure servers for a maximum of 30 calendar days from the date of upload.
After that period, files are automatically and irreversibly deleted from our systems. We do not retain backup copies of these documents once the deletion process has been executed.
If you wish us to delete your data before the 30-day period expires, you may request this by sending an email to legal@cvup.pro with the subject line «Data Deletion».
CvUp expressly guarantees that the content of your CV and any personal information you provide to us are not used, under any circumstances, to train, adjust, fine-tune, or improve any artificial intelligence model, whether our own or belonging to third parties.
The AI models involved in the analysis are provided by specialized third-party providers (see the «Service Providers» section). These models process your information only on a transactional basis, without retaining the data for their own subsequent use.
Payments made on CvUp are processed exclusively through Stripe, Inc. Stripe is a payment processor certified under PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of certification available in the payment industry.
CvUp never receives, views, or stores your full credit or debit card details. All financial information is captured and managed directly by Stripe through secure forms hosted on their infrastructure.

CvUp uses browser local storage (localStorage) in a limited and strictly functional manner to store a temporary access token that allows you to retrieve and download your analysis result during the period in which it is available.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or behavioral analytics tools that involve the processing of personal data for purposes other than operating the service.
To operate the service, CvUp may share data with the following trusted providers, only to the extent necessary to deliver the contracted service:
Artificial intelligence provider: we use the API of a specialized provider for CV analysis and optimization. This provider processes data on a transactional basis and does not retain it to train its own models, in accordance with applicable contractual agreements.
Stripe, Inc.: secure card payment processing.
Email service provider: we use a transactional email service to deliver the analysis result to your email address.
All our providers are subject to data processing agreements that require them to maintain adequate security levels and not to use the data for their own purposes.
As a data subject, you have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection to the processing of your personal data, under the terms established by the applicable personal data protection regulations.
To exercise any of these rights, send an email to legal@cvup.pro clearly stating the right you wish to exercise and, where possible, the email address used in the payment process so we can identify your request.
We will respond to your request within the legally established timeframe. If you believe we have not adequately addressed your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
CvUp applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, alteration, or improper disclosure. These measures include encryption of data in transit using TLS, restricted access to systems that contain personal data, and automatic deletion of files once the retention period has expired.
However, no security system is completely infallible. If you detect a security incident related to your data, please notify us immediately at legal@cvup.pro.
The CvUp service is intended exclusively for individuals aged 16 and over. We do not intentionally collect data from persons below that age. If you are aware that a minor has used the service and provided us with personal data, please notify us at legal@cvup.pro so we can proceed with the immediate deletion of such data.
CvUp reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes to the service, applicable regulations, or our data processing practices.
Changes will take effect upon publication on this page. The «Last updated» date at the beginning of the document indicates when it was last revised. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
